The new jacuzzi tubs presented at the latest furniture fair of milan have been designed by pininfarina. ‘Alpha’, ‘gamma’, and ‘sigma’ have been made using state-of-the-art technology to interpret the concept of ‘bellessere’ as part of the morphosis project. ‘Bellessere’ comes from the italian words ‘bellezza’ (beauty) and ‘benessere’ (wellbeing), and it is a concept that summarises both the multiple sensations obtained from a jacuzzi bath, and the aesthetic and functional characteristics of a company that has been a market leader for the last 25 years. The morphosis project (from the greek ‘to take shape’, and from the mythological god of dreams, morpheus) seeks to give substance to desires by creating tubs of seducing and appealing shapes. With the morphosis project, jacuzzi’s bellessere becomes a collection that is in continuous evolution through space and time, providing renewed substance to water and a new feeling of wellbeing and beauty to the user.
