Fiori ed effetti materici

La ceramica detta il suo stile e torna ad essere protagonista nell’immaginario collettivo attraverso lo spazio domestico.

Ceramic dictates its own style and, in the collective imagination, is once again a key player in bathrooms.

Nell’evoluzione dell’abitazione e del modo di abitare è evidente una frequente contaminazione fra i vari settori merceologici. Soprattutto fra design e moda si è instaurato un rapporto reciproco in cui l’uno attinge dal mondo dell’altro rendendo più ricca ed eterogenea quella che è la creatività, il modo e la forma in cui una determinata idea viene presentata. Fondamentali sono in questo “processo” le tecnologie applicate alla lavorazione della ceramica,
oggi vero e proprio elemento d’arredo ed evoluzione della tradizionale piastrella da bagno. Unitamente al ritorno di un decorativismo che si può definire “barocco”, le possibilità rivolte a qualsiasi tipo di finitura superficiale e colorazione della piastrella e alla realizzazione di qualsiasi tipo di formato per forma e misura, danno vita ad ambienti assolutamente originali e personalizzati. Pareti che riproducono motivi damascati, come fossero tessuti d’arredamento, o piani d’appoggio “rivestiti” di fiori colorati. Effetti di “traslucenze”, ombreggiature, elementi
in rilievo, decorazioni cinetiche ed optical, sono il risultato di una creatività legata ad un’epoca lontana (il barocco e, a seguire, gli anni Settanta) e delle infinite possibilità legate alla lavorazione del materiale ceramico. Spesso il motivo floreale è protagonista, e spesso, oltre che sulle pareti ceramiche, anche direttamente sui mobili o i sanitari, ricreando
uno stile che diventa un mix fra artistico e fashion.

Influences from various commodity sectors are frequent and common in the advance of homeliving.
Especially between design and fashion, a reciprocal rapport has taken hold in which the one draws on the other.
This makes the creativity, form and fashion in which a given idea is presented richer and more heterogeneous.
Technologies used in the processing of ceramics are crucial to this process, and today’s ceramics are a genuine progression of the traditional bathroom tile.
Together with a return to baroque style, the surface and colour options of tiles available together with the manufacture of all types of format, shape, and size, have led to highly original and personalised rooms with walls that reproduce damask motifs as if they were furnishing fabrics, or tops ‘covered’ with coloured flowers.
Translucent effects, shading, relief, kinetic and optical decorations are the result of creativity that goes all the way back to the baroque period, followed by the 1970s, and of the infinite possibilities associated with the manufacture
of this material.

Motivi floreali Le piastrelle di ceramica sono definite come materiali edilizi di finitura a cui si riconducono due fondamentali ed essenziali funzioni: quella estetica e quella tecnica. Oggi però questa accezione costituisce solamente la base, in quanto rappresentano un vero e proprio elemento d’arredo e di design. Un esempio è dato da questa varietà di monocottura in pasta bianca attraverso cui si può colorare e rendere divertente un ambiente. Dai mobili ai complementi, ai tessuti, agli accessori; nell’arredamento come nella moda, infatti, cresce sempre più questa tendenza estetica legata al mondo floreale o a motivi decorativi geometrici o a quella che da sempre è considerata la forma perfetta per eccellenza: il cerchio. A tutto ciò si aggiunge la pratica artigianale (tipica del made in Italy) che si manifesta ancora nelle decorazioni e nelle pennellature realizzate a mano che interpretano le fantasie e i
colori e moderni. Ed infine formati sempre più estesi che sfiorano i 2 metri, trasformati in infiniti sottomultipli che generano schemi di posa sempre più creativi, interpretati sia verticalmente che in senso orizzontale. Pose che grazie alla rettifica possono anche essere effettuate senza fuga.

Floral motifs are widely used and can often be found not only on tiled walls but also on cabinets and sanitary fixtures, thus recreating a style that becomes a mix between art and fashion. From cabinets to fabrics and accessories, in furniture as in fashion, there is a growing tendency to use floral or geometric motifs or else designs associated with the perfect shape par excellence: the circle. Added to all this is a cottage industry (typical of Italian-made products) that can be seen once more in the hand-painted application of modern patterns and colours.
And finally, there are increasingly extended formats that come close to 2 metres, transformed into submultiples that generate ever-more creative layouts, whether vertical of horizontal. By means of a simple adjustment, the tiles can be
applied so that there is no visible join.

Le piastrelle Le piastrelle, come tutti i materiali ceramici, sono ottenute da impasti di argille, sabbia e altre sostanze naturali. Il ciclo di fabbricazione prevede: 1. preparazione dell’impasto; 2. formatura; 3. cottura (da 1000 a 1.250°C, a seconda del tipo) 4. essiccamento; 5. 1a cottura; 6. eventuale smaltatura (la superficie viene ricoperta da uno strato di vetro colorato che conferisce caratteristiche estetiche di colore, lucentezza, sfumature, ecc.). Adiscrezione, la piastrella può essere sottoposta ad una seconda cottura e poi, eventualmente, alla smaltatura. Requisiti: durezza; indeformabilità; resistenza alle macchie, al fuoco e nel tempo, caratteristiche che fanno riferimento ai parametri di valutazione stabiliti dalle NORME UNI EN ISO. Con le moderne tecnologie la tradizionale bidimensionalità diventa tridimensionalità apportando, oltre ad una notevole evoluzione nel mondo delle piastrelle, anche la capacità di movimentare una superficie. The manufacturing cycle entails: 1. preparation of the mixture 2. moulding 3. firing (between 1000 and 1250°C depending on the type) 4. drying 5. firing 6. enamelling (optional) whereby the surface is covered with a layer of coloured glass that provides colour, shine, hues and so on. At discretion, the tile can be subjected two a second firing and then enamelled if required. Characteristics: hardness, non-deformability, resistance to stains fire and time, all of which are in line with UNI EN ISO specifications. Using modern technology, the traditional two dimensions have become three, leading to the possibility of providing movement to surfaces in addition to representing an important development in the tile sector. Colore e fantasia Con trattament superficiali, decori a tutta parete, motivi floreali, righe, onde cerchi, particolari sensazioni tattili ed effetti ottici, tutto è possibile, attraverso tecniche superficiali di finitura e tecnologie di lavorazione del materiale ceramico. Come rivestimenti e pavimenti realizzati in Grès porcellanato rettificato che interpretano le essenze del legno con venature evidentissime coniugando estetica e praticità. Grazie ai requisiti di qualità la ceramica diventa oggi protagonista in ogni ambiente della casa e non più solo nel bagno.
