Sopra, “vaso imperial” design Lalique, prodotto in una serie limitata a novantanove esemplari. Assolutamente lussuoso, il vaso rappresenta un Dragone. Simbolo di forza e di energia, il Dragone è nella mitologia cinese, la manifestazione dell’onnipotenza imperiale. Nella pagina accanto, un interno altrettanto lussuoso. Palazzo Invernizzi, ristrutturato negli anni ’70 dall’arch. Filippo Perego di Cremnago, ospita questo meraviglioso soggiorno, ricco di oggetti preziosi con divani in stile classico, rivestiti di tessuto damascato in raso dal colore vivace.

Above, “ imperial vase” design Lalique, produced in a limited series of 99 pieces. Absolutely elegant, the vase represents a Dragon. Symbol of strength and energy, the Dra-gon is the manifestation of imperial omnipotence in Chinese philosophy. On the next page, the inside of a very elegant home. The Invernizzi building, renovated in the 70’s by the architect Filippo Perego di Cremnago, has a wonderful living room, rich in precious objects with classic sofas, upholstered in bright colored satin damask fabric.

ANNI 70
Nella pagina accanto il soggiorno di una casa progettata da Gio Ponti ma realizzata e integrata da Nanda Vigo. Ai tempi, la casa aveva creato scalpore e perplessità per l’uso insolito dei materiali quali le piastrelle bianche, uscite dai servizi e assurte a motivo d’arredamento, le luci al neon che corrono in un unico tubo di plastica per tutta la casa e la peluche grigia che ricopre la scala a chiocciola e i divani.

In the past, this house generally shocked people due to the unusual use of the materials like white tiles, which abandoned bathrooms becoming a decorative element, neon lights that run in just one plastic tube along the entire house and the gray plush that covers the winding staircase and the sofas. |

Metamorfosi Yang è il nome della lampada rappresentata in questa pagina. Il rosa intenso, genera buonumore e allegria. Il giallo rende più brillanti ed espansivi. La profondità del blu è utile per combattere insonnia e nevrosi. Una lam-pada che si intona perfettamente anche all’ambiente proposto qui a fianco dove l’arancio e il rosso, colori energizzanti per eccellenza, sono mitigati dalla luce naturale filtrata dalla tenda a pacchetto bianca e azzurra.

Yang metamorphosis is the name of the lamp represented on this page. Designed by Carlotta Bevilacqua, it proposes atmospheres specifically programmed to combine the different moments of the day, thus offering through shape and color, customized answers to our needs. Deep pink brings joy and happiness. Yellows makes us more brilliant and extroverted. Deep blue is great against insomnia and nervousness. A lamp that perfectly matches the environment proposed here where orange and red, the most energizing colors, are toned down by the natural light filtered by the white and light blue balloon curtain. |

LO STILE COUNTRY
Trascorrere un week end in campagna è il modo migliore per “staccare la spina” per allontanarsi da una quotidianità troppo rumorosa e caotica. Ed è proprio nelle campagne che nasce il country. Uno stile che riscopre le tradizioni artigianali locali e che rivaluta la manualitàe il calore di oggetti e di arredi pensati e costruiti uno alla volta lontani dalla serialità cui ci hanno abituato molti prodotti del design contemporaneo. Ma country suggerisce anche un’atmosfera. Odori, colori,silenzi che la natura evoca anche in interni dove, raccolti attorno al fuoco, scopriamo la rassicurante presenza di arredi ed oggetti che appartengono al passato.
