La piscina: luogo di relax o divertimento, in cui condividere i momenti di riposo con amici e familiari, o semplicemente per
poter assaporare una giornata assolata, che diventa nel periodo della bella stagione ambiente protagonista. Lo spazio aperto può presentare l’opportunità di poter godere tutte le ore del giorno senza soffrire troppo il caldo. Le soluzioni per creare degli spazi adeguatamente ombreggiati trovano risposta nella evoluzione dei sistemi di ombreggiamento per ambienti esterni e nelle varie possibilità di applicazione tra diversi sistemi di schermatura e materiali. I sistemi offerti oggi dal mercato delle schermature propongono soluzioni che si differenziano per tipologia, colore e possibilità di movimentazione. La tensostruttura, per spazi grandi e piccoli, è un sistema che utilizza membrane tese, dove la schermatura assume un ruolo di elemento architettonico forte, negli spazi esterni, in cui la forma stessa della schermatura è il suo carattere fondamentale, mentre comunemente il colore mantiene una tinta neutra, generalmente il bianco, questo per esaltare la forma. Ultima soluzione che rappresenta una via di mezzo tra le prime due sono i gazebo, con struttura in legno o in ferro battuto, che possono utilizzare al tempo stesso sistemi di membrane tese e tende scorrevoli con tessuti colorati o neutri e differenti trame e fantasie. Strutture generalmente meno sinuose delle tensostrutture, i gazebo hanno con gli edifi ci un rapporto meno intenso rispetto alle tende installate sugli edifi ci stessi, assumendo una propria identità

An outdoor area on the other hand can present the problem of being able to enjoy the fresh air without boiling to death.
