Tende in campagna

Capita di sentire la necessità di voler separare due zone di uno stesso ambiente senza però ricorrere ad opere murarie fisse, di creare in altre parole, una separazione più simbolica che reale. Il tendaggio ha anche questa funzione. In questi casi, infatti, si può realizzare un sipario di morbide pieghe che, oltre ad impreziosire l’atmosfera, potrà comodamente essere aperto e chiuso secondo le necessità. Grande libertà di scelta nello stile che si dovrà però armonizzare con l’arredo circostante. Nella foto si vuol sottolineare la divisione fra la zona pranzo e quella dedicata alla conversazione all’interno di una casa di campagna. Una struttura in ferro, inserita nell’apertura ad arco preesistente, sostiene un “sipario” realizzato con lo stesso tessuto usato per le tende.
One of the main yet undervalued features of draperies is the possibility of creating two or more separate areas within the same room without actually building a wall. Obviously this kind of separation will be more visual than physical, but it could be very practical and, at the same time, an important and versatile element of decoration as long as it blends in in a natural way with the rest of the room. Shown in the picture is a good example of how to create two separate areas in a country home just by using a metal frame to hold a sort of theater curtain. Notice how the colors match beautifully.
