A romantic house in Verbier Un antico chalet a Verbier è stato completamente ristrut- turato pur mantenendo intatto il fascino della costruzione originale.All ‘interno infatti,pareti e soffitti sono rivestiti da legno di pino recuperato da un ‘antica baita,e mobili e oggetti tradizionali della zona arredano con gusto tipicamente montano. An ancient chalet in Verbier was completely restructured keeping unaltered the charm of the original building.In- side,in fact,walls and ceilings are covered with pinewood, salvaged from an ancient chalet,while local traditional furniture and objects furnish with typical mountain flavour.
Le foto mostrano l ’ingresso con pavimento in pietre a spacco,e il soggiorno che si articola in un ’ampia zona conver- sazione e spazio pranzo con tavolo fratino.L ’imponente camino,realizzato con grosse pietre di Sembrancher,un vicino villaggio,è disposto centralmente e permette di godere della vista del fuoco da ogni angolo. L ’ambiente è ravvivato da divani rossi e da numerosi complementi decorativi che donano un tono romantico. The pictures show the entrance hall with faceted pebbles and the living room,articulated in a large conversa- tion area,as well as the dining room with the monastic table.The imposing fireplace made with large stones from Sembrancher,a near village,is cen- trally positioned and allows enjoying of the fire view from each angle.The room is smarted up from red sofas and numerous decoration complements that give a romantic flavour.
La zona notte comprende due camere, una per i figli e l ‘altra padronale. La cameretta ha lettini gemelli inseriti sotto le falde inclinate del tetto mansardato e una piccola zona studio con scrivania a ribalta.Quella matrimoniale,con pareti e soffitto completamente rivestiti in legno,presenta un graziosissimo angolo con tavolino in legno impreziosito da gambe tornite su cui sono allineati piccoli oggetti, foto e due lampade disposte simmetricamente ai lati dello specchio la cui cornice scura risalta sul colore del legno. Nella foto sotto,uno scorcio del terrazzino che si apre sulla vallata.
The night area includes two rooms, one for the children and the other for the owners.The small room has two single beds inserted under the mansard roof pitches and a small studio area with a fall-front desk.The double bedroom with walls and ceil- ing completely covered with wood has a very nice corner with wooden side table smarted up from turned legs,on which some small objects are dis- played,while pictures and two lamps are symmetrically put on the mirror ‘s sides.
